I am terribly sorry for neglecting you so badly. I have been busy and blogging keeps getting pushed to the bottom of my list. When I think about it I get overwhelmed with the prospect of starting it up again but really should since the kiddos are growing at an alarming rate. Ethan is doing well in school but still asks every morning if he really has to go. He's made lots of friends and has an alarming amount of girls who come and give him hugs in the morning and chase him around. Something I will have to keep a mother's eye on! Ethan is also in Tae Kwon Do class and really enjoys that. He has been getting much more coordinated and enjoys practicing kicks...at home...and often to Momma's behind. Karington is every bit of a three year old. She is still teeny but has grown a fair amount in her height. She is finally 28-29lbs. It's a start! Karington is in dance class now and LOVES it. There is nothing cuter than 12 little girls in pink tutus. Seriously, there isn't. I can't wipe the smile off my face when I watch them all. Clara just turned 18months and is hilarious. She is 75th percentile for her weight at 26lbs, and is a whopping 90th percentile for her height. She is generally wearing 2T in clothing. Her and her sister share quite a few things already. She is starting to talk and loves to say thank-you. Her brother and sister have taught her how to say that she is stinky. They are such loving siblings :) I'm working part-time and enjoy getting out, but do miss bedtimes. However sometimes it is a nice break! Phil is busy again in school and will be thrilled when it's all over and done with. Between our work schedules it is quite busy and we tend to see each other in passing. I have been taking the girls swimming as often as possible and have been trying to get back to the gym. Not an easy task with our schedules and I rather feel like doing the Insanity program in the summer was wasted by the past 5 months of doing nothing. I have started buying most of our food at the Halifax Seaport Farmers Market and have noticed a HUGE difference. It is delicious and I love the idea of supporting our local farmers. The kids have enjoyed seeing pictures of the farm and getting to pick out what they want to eat. It's great and I love going down early on a Saturday morning, picking up yummy food and fresh flowers for the week. I am looking forward to the summer months when I can hopefully take the kids out to see the farms and tour around a bit while Daddy is away. I am getting very antsy and am ready for a move. Luckily with the army we won't have to wait too long once school is over with. However, this summer the kids and I will be going to my dad and step-mom's house back in Ottawa and I am so excited to go. The kids are VERY excited to be spending time with Grandpa and Nanna and Auntie Erin and Uncle Jar. Hopefully Auntie Kate and Uncle Ian will be able to visit too. Not sure if anyone even bothers to check my blog anymore after being MIA for so long and not checking other blogs either!
